How Installation Works

1. Clean the bed rails. Wipe down the factory rail where the clamps will sit — any ice film under a clamp will melt and refreeze, throwing off your seal compression later.
2. Position the panels. Set the tri-fold assembly squarely on the rail, front edge first.
3. Clamp and torque to spec. Hand-tighten the included J-clamps, then torque to the spec in the guide — cold hands tend to under- or over-tighten by feel.
4. Square it up. Check the front and rear edges sit evenly before final tightening.
5. Test the latches. Open, close, and lock the tailgate and side latches to confirm smooth operation before your first drive.
